Mattel has introduced its latest premium collectible with the Barbie Atelier Doll #1, a striking addition to the Barbie Signature line that redefines high-fashion doll artistry. Unveiled during the Mattel Creations REVEALED 2026 event, this doll marks the debut of the Barbie Atelier collection, which honors Barbie’s heritage while pushing boundaries in craftsmanship, scale, and posability.

Standing at an impressive 14.5 inches tall—significantly taller than standard Barbie dolls—this Grand Couture Silkstone figure features a brand-new Atelier facial sculpt and luminous glass eyes that radiate wonder and serenity. With more than 23 points of articulation, including detailed joints in the fingers and toes, the doll offers unprecedented posing capabilities, allowing elegant gestures like raising hands, touching fingers to the chest, or confidently placing a hand on the hip.
The outfit embodies avant-garde couture design. Doll designer Suim Noh crafted a full pink coat adorned with soft, delicate ruffles and a dramatically oversized black bow, its tails flowing for added drama. She steps forward in tall pink boots accented with tiny black bows, while shimmering pearl-like drop earrings complete the layered, decadent look. Beneath the coat lies a dazzling embroidered sequin dress, revealed in a graceful motion as a sparkling statement of timeless allure. Packaging, designed by Vicky Gevorkyan, evokes the golden-lit atmosphere of an exclusive atelier, with every stitch and sculpt breathing life into the piece.

Positioned as a collector’s dream, the doll includes a Certificate of Authenticity and carries the Platinum label, emphasizing its exclusivity within the Mattel Creations platform. The Barbie Atelier collection focuses on Silkstone dolls that are “divinely tall” and more posable than ever, blending artistry with imagination in a way that sets it apart from previous Signature releases.
Priced at $300 (with some reports noting around $342 in early coverage), pre-orders are available now directly through Mattel Creations, with shipments scheduled on or before May 1, 2026. Limits apply—one unit per customer—to maintain its premium, limited-edition appeal.
